May 2025

Hiiiiii crew,

I’ve got a show at BCC this week on Thursday May 15th at 7pm with The Bisque. We are guests for one of the best improv teams in town (not exaggerating, they are incredible) The Good Time. We love them - tickets are on sale here.

Also I just got on a house team at Young Ethel’s, so you can catch me doing improv there at 7:30pm on the first two Thursdays of each month starting in June.

The world is scary but my parents got a puppy and his name is Tank. He’s extremely cute (see photo evidence below).

Those are all my updates. Short and sweet. When things are bad, remember that community is a radical solution to the isolation and fear. My city council rep, Tiffany Cabán, frequently repeats the anti-facist, deeply community based, and frankly, beautiful phrase “No one not let go of anyone’s hand.” So don’t.

Love ya, see ya next month,

D

April 2025

Hiiii,

Wow, it crazy out here. Good news is, you can see me back at good ole UCB - Upright Citizens Brigade. I’m in a show call The Assignment - it’s a cool monthly show where people try out new, experimental improv forms with a rotating cast. I’m thrilled to join for a form called “The Flashlight” - tickets are $10 for in person and livestream so come on out on Thursday April 10th at 8:30pm

Also, for TableTopNotch - the weekly Dnd show I’m on - we are finally back in our main, gritty western campaign “Brunkhollow”, after taking a break to do a silly time travel themed show. If you are interested in some Deadwood inspired Dungeons and Dragons, this will scratch that very specific itch.

That’s it for updates - remember to help your neighbors.

talk soon,

Deirdre

March 2025

Hey everyone!

It’s that time again - I’ve got another show for The Bisque on March 19th at 7pm! Actually, the fun news is we are booked for a quarterly show at Caveat, so hopefully this will help us build a regular audience of comedy fans who want to support The Brigid Alliance. Early bird tickets are available through March 12th and the show will be live-streamed! If you buy a livestream ticket, you get a video on demand link, so you can watch the show for a whole week after. If you say to me “I’m not available on the 19th!”, I’ll be like, “all good, you don’t have to be!”

What I’m saying is there are no excuses not to buy a cheeky lil ticket to support abortion access <3

Also, a little belated, but for Valentine’s Day, No Worries If No and GOLD Comedy partnered with nonprofit Project Sleep! We made a funny little ad for CPAP machines that I shot and edited - check it out.

See ya soon,

D

Pumpkins,

Happy New Year! Sending strength to my LA friends. This is horrible - if you can support mutual aid or the LAFD (their funding got cut…) there’s obviously a lot of need.

No easy way to transition out of that.

So I won't try. Next Tuesday, I’m doing a show at Caveat Comedian Traitors. If you’ve seen the show on Peacock (with Alan Cumming hosting) then you get the concept! If you haven’t watched, you really should cuz it’s so fun.

Livestream (with a VOD) tickets are available if you aren’t in town and/or can’t watch live, and if you are in town, it’s the 14th at 9:30pm. Hope to see you there!

I wrote a Great British Bake Off sketch with No Worries If Not. It’s my pride and joy and I’ve pitched it for years as a bit. The girls finally called my bluff <3

See you next month - love and peace to all
