Hey gang,

Another year almost over! I’m a big fan of year-end inventories cuz I’m a dork. I’ve got a lot to inventory this year! I am so lucky to have amazing collaborators, great friends and supportive people in my life - I would be remiss if I didn’t take stock of them and show my enormous gratitude. So thank you all, and I hope you have a safe, happy and healthy holiday season.

In the meantime, I wanted to leave you with a brand new video sketch from No Worries If Not at GOLD Comedy. I wrote, shot, helped edit, and I’m pretty proud of it. Also, after losing several locations, QED Astoria generously let us shoot in their space, and we are eternally grateful. They saved the day! So did my friend Chris Gerson, who let us borrow some equipment and my talented actor friends Dana Patrice and Tommy Walters. Of course, I’m grateful to the whole NWIN team for making it :)

And more improv here with I'll Have the Bisque: A Variety Show on Wed 12/7 at 7pm @ The Bowery Electric. Tickets are here and go to support The Brigid Alliance for women’s healthcare.

So that’s pretty cool. Also, I’ve been writing some comedy articles for GOLD Comedy recently. I don’t think I’ve shared them, so check them out here.

Yeah, the holidays are upon us, as is the end of 2022. So remember to pause, give thanks, and take care of yourself. Time marches ever onward, bb.

I got a bunch of shows coming up! This week in fact :)

Loser Boy has a show at QED Astoria on Wednesday October 19 at 7pm: T.M.I. Too Much Improv and our standup guest is Howard Hendrix Powell! It’s going to be super fun cuz we have a show with forms that involve maybe divulging a little too much (get it) - “Improvised Speed Dating” and “Audience Confessions”. We’ve done the show before at QED and had a blast - tickets are only $10.

I have a live sketch show with GOLD Comedy at the PIT Loft on Saturday October 22 at 5:30pm. Tickets are here and the evening will be a combo of live and pre-recorded sketches along with fabulous stand-up guests Jes Tom and Elsa Eli Waithe. In case you forgot, GOLD is a collective of female and non-binary folks making comedy, and it’s going to be a killer show :)

That’s all for now, but I do have more shows coming up in November and December. I figure I’ll just tell you about them then.

I dunno, is that my new intro? “People of the page” feels a little dumb. I may stick with “Hey gang”…

Quick lil update: I'm in a coffee shop, attempting to write a pilot and procrastinating by writing this blog!

I’ve got a show this Sunday at Asylum - Edge of 30 is a variety show with some of the best NYC standups, character performers and sketch teams (including mine) out there! It’s 9:30pm and it’s gonna be a blast.

Also, GOLD Comedy is still absolutely coming in hot! My GOLD sponsored sketch team No Worries If Not will have some of our sketches featured in Catalyst Content Festival at the end of this month! It’s my first time with my work being featured in a film festival so I’m very excited to be going.

Speaking of No Worries If Not, I love the talented women on my team. Here’s a newish video written by the brilliantly talented Maggie Maxwell, featuring me (and Nora Walls) in very blond wigs. I also edited this one and let me tell you, this sketch really passes the Bechdel test.
