Hey gang,

I got a bunch of shows coming up! This week in fact :)

Loser Boy has a show at QED Astoria on Wednesday October 19 at 7pm: T.M.I. Too Much Improv and our standup guest is Howard Hendrix Powell! It’s going to be super fun cuz we have a show with forms that involve maybe divulging a little too much (get it) - “Improvised Speed Dating” and “Audience Confessions”. We’ve done the show before at QED and had a blast - tickets are only $10.

I have a live sketch show with GOLD Comedy at the PIT Loft on Saturday October 22 at 5:30pm. Tickets are here and the evening will be a combo of live and pre-recorded sketches along with fabulous stand-up guests Jes Tom and Elsa Eli Waithe. In case you forgot, GOLD is a collective of female and non-binary folks making comedy, and it’s going to be a killer show :)

That’s all for now, but I do have more shows coming up in November and December. I figure I’ll just tell you about them then.

I dunno, is that my new intro? “People of the page” feels a little dumb. I may stick with “Hey gang”…

Quick lil update: I'm in a coffee shop, attempting to write a pilot and procrastinating by writing this blog!

I’ve got a show this Sunday at Asylum - Edge of 30 is a variety show with some of the best NYC standups, character performers and sketch teams (including mine) out there! It’s 9:30pm and it’s gonna be a blast.

Also, GOLD Comedy is still absolutely coming in hot! My GOLD sponsored sketch team No Worries If Not will have some of our sketches featured in Catalyst Content Festival at the end of this month! It’s my first time with my work being featured in a film festival so I’m very excited to be going.

Speaking of No Worries If Not, I love the talented women on my team. Here’s a newish video written by the brilliantly talented Maggie Maxwell, featuring me (and Nora Walls) in very blond wigs. I also edited this one and let me tell you, this sketch really passes the Bechdel test.

Hi gang,

I took July off from writing, including this lil blog :) I hope everyone is enjoying summer and taking time to play and breathe. Here’s some updates:

I’m now a published comedy writer! GOLD Comedy published two of my comedy articles: a think piece about the Muppets and a satirical piece about preferring a zombie apocalypse to your office job. Check ‘em out.

Also, GOLD Comedy has been releasing some more sketches from No Worries If Not. Watch them below for some silly stuff.

That’s it! I’m working on some other projects and I’ll keep you posted when they launch.

Hi gang,

It’s been a very big month. I got covid, I’m getting laid off from my day job, and I had a complete existential crisis. I’m fine by the way! Both from the covid and the lay off. Since the panini began in 2020, it’s been a whirlwind. So I had a meltdown, and now I’m feeling like it’s time to try something new, and dream about what possibilities await me.

I’ve got a sketch show with Grandma’s Favorites (formerly Dark with a Chance of Stupid) this Thursday 6/16 so please come on out - 8:30pm at The PIT Loft, tickets here for only $10. It’s gonna be a silly show with both live and video sketches.

Also, the digital sketch team I told you about last month, GOLD Comedy’s No Worries If Not, released our first video. I edited it! And I’m a small part in it. Super talented and hard working women in this group and I’m very lucky to be in it. Watch it below!
