Busy! As we hurtle toward the end of 2021 (wut) I’ve got several announcements. I’m not going to bother doing a recap of the year because I can’t. I gotta get through December first.

Eeek, ok the exciting news is, I signed with a manager! I’m now with Tsu Tsu Stanton of Tsu Tsu Unlimited and I’m really excited to be working with her. Looking forward to the new year and new bookings :)

Also, I’ve got an awesome sketch show this Wednesday 12/8 at 9:30pm at Asylum: Dark with a Chance of Stupid! Get your tickets here. In October, we had a really killer show and I think this month is going to be even better.

Also, Loser Boy has two more in-person shows - Monday 12/13 at 7pm at The Tank: Form-ication (gross) and we’ve got a killer line-up: Howard Hendrix Powell for stand-up and Higgins (of old U*right C’zens B…fame) for improv! And of course, Loser Boy doing some fresh forms/prov.

We are also in CAGEMATCH at Asylum on Thursday 12/16 at 11pm - we fight another improv team to the death :) You gotta vote for us, so get your tickets here.

If you are out of town, come on and see us on Cybertank, Mondays at 7pm here. Only two more shows this year!

Hi all,

Happy Fall! I’ve been lucky enough to visit family in Nova Scotia for the last two weeks. I took a week of vacation from my day job and have been working remotely this week. It’s been two years (cuz of the pandemmy) since I’ve been up to see folks, so I’m feeling very grateful. I’ve gotten to spend time with my parents and their dogs (my boi Bart) and it’s been great!

Sort of a long update this time: I wanted to share the scenes I shot for my reel at the end of August along with my updated reel! It was a journey to get them shot - due to a COVID exposure, my producer Nicole Townsend and I had to replace two crew members at the last minute, our DP and sound. If you’ve done any film before, you’ll know those are pretty important positions on set, and it all happened within 24 hours of the shoot. Two people came into rescue us: Hilla Eden as our amazing cinematographer and Jonathan Portee ran sound. They were superheroes, as was the rest of the crew, Evan Ray Wilkins, our gaffer and Brianna Ashley Chin, hair and makeup. My scene partners were Paul Bernardo and Steven Czajkowski, respectively. All in all, it was a really fun set and a great shoot.

Then, I edited the footage and here are the results: A procedural scene where young lawyer makes a discovery that could save her client and a comedy scene where a nerdy woman struggles through a first date.

Additionally, I've got two shows coming up next week: My improv team, Loser Boy, does our monthly show, Form-ication, on Monday, October 25, at 7pm at the Tank. We always have awesome guest teams and killer standup comedians in the lineup. I'm also in a fun sketch show at Asylum Dark with a Chance of Stupid, on Thursday October 28th at 9pm. I dunno about you but this month’s been crazy. Everything is back! But also everything is still online! We are in a time of transition and also limbo.

Because everything is busy, I won’t take too much time. Loser Boy has an IN-PERSON show on MONDAY 9/27 at 7pm!! We’re back at the Tank for our monthly show with some amazing guests: Store Bought Improv and comedian Esther Fallick. Get your tickets here. (They are cheaper online than at the door).

Behind the scenes, I’m frantically editing my updated reel! My deadline is this Sunday (I give myself deadlines). I didn’t share with you all on this newsletter situation but at the end of August, I filmed some scenes for my reel. A smart young lawyer who discovered something that proves her client is innocent, and an unlucky-in-love woman goes on a date that goes surprisingly well! I had an amazing crew and I can’t wait to share the final product with you all.

Also, if you miss Chill Grill Comedy - we aren’t making a lot of videos because we are deep in the writing process for a feature and a pilot with our dear friend Grace Experience. Lots of behind the scenes stuff happening!

Hello everyone,

It’s a busy August! I just did a sketch show at Asylum NYC on Saturday and it was my first live show since March 2021. It was surreal! And wonderful! A great cast lead by writer/director/actor Sloan Brettholz - Check out @darkwithachanceofstupid for more shows down the line!

My improv team, @loserboyimprov has live shows coming up too! This Wednesday at 7:30pm at QED in Astoria, we are doing T.M.I. Too Much Improv - featuring forms we created called Speed Dating and Confessions. Tickets are $10 and can be found here!

On Monday 8/23 at 7pm, we have our first show live at The Tank since March 9, 2020. We’ve been doing a virtual show every Monday at the Cyber Tank but we miss our artistic home! We have amazing guests like Dylan Adler and improv team Morgan, so we are pumped to do a big fun show. Tickets range from $10-20 and can be found here. This will kick off our monthly show at the Tank on the 4th Monday of the month. We can’t wait :)

We also have an amazing lil online show at The Squirrel this week, on Thursday night on Twitch at 9:30pm. Also with amazing guests, Chaz May and Laura Kathryn Gilbert.

I’m feeling very grateful - there’s lots of bad stuff out there but I feel very fortunate to have these opportunities. I should say that all these show require vaccines - so get the jab, protect yourself and other and the arts! “Be sturdy and full of hope.”
